How does it work?
9v battery allows a magnet to create a magnetic field that will thrill the rope (and yes the e bow is mono) without touching it. So long as the magnet on, the string vibrates.
2 modes of use; normal harmonic &
In normal mode, the note heard is the same as if you pluck the string.
In harmonic mode, the first 12 boxes sound an octave higher.
The instructions are clear. But it is the practice you will master this gadget. Many subtleties to feel more than to explain here the position of the E bow across the strings, its proximity to the microphones ...
I say novelty because for about 100 €, it is true that this is not given.
But the icing on the cake, it works very well with folk guitars! You will have a unique acoustic sound with this thing!
