Excellent
The Fat Burner is a compressor-limiter for guitar, until the you guessed it!
Rglages "volume", "sustain" (actually the compression ratio) and "muscle" (the one I have not understood what it was because I can not hear the diffrence in turning! But this may be my style of play in clean). A red tmoigne the commissioning of the effect.
In addition to the usual connectors effect pedals, there is a gniale headphone output with its volume SETTING THE indpendant named "phone". It is very practical for rpter home, or to boost amplifier anmique, or, conversely, pushing a "bte its" in its ultimate limit.
It is produced by Jacques Marseille, a "fada" guitar amp and effects "vintage".
Its range of effects pedals is Whereas as a "must" as the technical and sound are excellent.
UTILIZATION
Say anything, it's simple trs, except in the case of the enigmatic rglage "muscle", but it's not really a problem.
Oh mounting the battery is gnial as contacts are made of solid copper strips fixed to the indoor pedals, instead of the usual cable connector with which ends the end tt always break or later ...
The manufacturing quality is excellent and the leaflet provides concrete examples of use.
SOUND QUALITY
Both say right away: I play Rickenbacker 12-string and I'm a fan of Jim Mc Guinn, the legendary guitarist of the Byrds. My idol using a compressor with his guitar, I wanted to do the same!
Well I do not t the. I have never used compressor before, but I must say that the bonus sound is remarkable with "twelve." The Fat Burner "smooth" notes Aiges too loud and goes up the level of bass and gnral mdiums, pinking thus a compact efficient and enjoyable trs. And all this without significant background noise! Hey, Mr. Tambourine Man!
With 6 strings into sound is a little more clear but may be dcevant have I misused.
And first of all why compress gniale dynamics of a Telecaster?
One of Intrets on offer by Jacques is pushing the limit of saturation of an amplifier.
Clearly, you can pull more power from your old amp lamp without saturating.
Again and I RPET is if you want to play clean sounds, although sr.
I imagine that with more distortion, the compressseur allows many other fantasies.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 2 years and I plan to buy a deuxime for use in cascade, to boost the volume of solos, and to further increase this effect of compactness sound!
I had the opportunity since to try other compressors on the multi-effects (ZOOM PS-02 and Korg AX 1500-G). They do not live up to the Fat Burner, far l.
