- Compressor Guitar Pedal
- Techno. Analog (OTA-based integrated circuit CA3080)
My model of 1979 (screenprint MXR in "fat") and therefore has no LED on / off, or mini-jack for external power supply (did it myself: on the front of the pedal so as not to interfere jack guitar).
- Switch into a true "bypass" for effect on / off (no change from its "live")

UTILIZATION

- Volume, compression (sustain): that's simple I put at 10 o'clock!
- Super mour's me like, "Marshall" ie many medium to C. Santana: but be careful, you can not change the sound!. Also, the attacks are relatively concervées what makes this "plop" feature to D. Gilmour: I love it!
(NOTE: some brands are reissues of a button "attack" and more ... it's not very effective given the pattern, and it also affects the setting "release = envelope detection" internal: no top !)
- In the "normal" setting, it does not blow too.

SOUND QUALITY

- Super efficient, and staying quiet when you want it
- I use it with the 1975 Strato amended, a Flanger Analog1985's Electro-Harmonix Electric Mistress, amplified by Marshall JCM900 (w/5881tubes) & MesaBoogie Mark IV.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 27 years! super sturdy case and jacks, great sound for me.
Only problem was resolved to change the battery (4 screws to remove!), But does not consume much Dynacomp. I bought the 600 FF at the time: good value for Q / P.
If I was flying, I would buy the same!
Before, I had an Electro-Harmonix 1978 BlackFinger in 3080 as OTA (! NOT reissue Tube) but the sound was too "right" & the "attacks" were completely erased the
which did not suit me.
