PDAL compression / sustain with adjustable output and sensitivity (compression ratio).
Some would probably have more paramtres settle (ratio, release ...), why there is the MODEL of the above or other trademarks, but it is no longer the "mythical" Dynacomp ...
UTILIZATION
A priori rglages are simple (a single knob to adjust the compression, the other is for the output level) but you have to spend some time addressing this and other effects pedals / amps according to a sound correctly. Indeed the Dynacomp is far from being transparent and changes the overall sound of fawn significant: by connecting the I t trsdu but its got some APRS (tens of) minutes set my amp and my other pedals while comparing with other settings of the sensitivity knob I t delighted by your exact.
For those who achtent the pedals or a new opportunity rcente, know that the possible problem in the notice of Peaveycroquette (see Previous opinion) no longer holds: the latest version This team is PDAL a standart outlet, but it is still on the cot: not practical when you do not have a power plug elbow!
The radius of the default of the knobs pedals are too sensitive (cot see anything of a Big Muff or a blower tube that can be rgler with surgical precision), the coup I sometimes run them with my foot when I try to reach another pedals on my pedalboard ... it's probably me who am not the pain that level but through a concert o we do not monitor his feet too can pose a problem.
SOUND QUALITY
This is definitely a compressor but it is far from being neutral if you want something really clean go your way, the Dynacomp adds color to the sound of its own and can not appeal.
I think the effect is lost teeth to the rhythm (which can be a desired effect but it works wonders on the solos that are gaining in heat and fluid just great. In arpge is also fun, the record is fairly INTERESTED condition not to the sensitivity too high (no nuance of the game is not apparent).
Note that with a lot of gain (in my case with an EHX Big Muff), the effect appears much less.
OVERALL OPINION
It is a few pedals which includes default course, but I love the warmth and precision that it brings my sound, some might criticize his lack of transparency but only for I love it! I can not do without support on this small red box before starting a solo.
