Aria AD-10 Analog Delay

The AD10 is a dual-format delay pedals (a bit larger than the "standard" Boss).
3 main knobs, mini knob, a switch (a stage / 2 stage), one between an output (main) and a 2nd output for use possibly in Stereo (I did not test this feature).
All trs classic then, but one particular feature ... This delay is all that is most analog! (And vintage for ftichistes) and when I say delay, I would say even delay TWO S ... Indeed, the advantages of two pedals possde DIFFERENT delays, but I will ...

UTILIZATION

In terms of use, once you got a ide on the use of two floors of delay is extremely simple. One knob = one rglage ... the simple joy of a perfect ergonomics.

As I said, it's not a delay but two in the same pedals. They share SETTING THE "level" (wet / dry) and feedback.
The delay 1 (accessible at first stroke switch) is adjustable in the "delay time" thanks to the first of three big knobs.
The delay 2, accessed by pressing the bottom and without Release the switch, follow the same rglages the first except for the "delay time", rgl the small flat knob (in knob below the "delay time" of the Tagus 1).

SOUND QUALITY

The idea is to have underfoot, but with a delay even two tempos DIFFERENT ... It's pretty gnial (including through a short delay in 2nd rev Tagus, that has any feedback parte pretty!) But we have to grate the stuff because dclenchement a Tagus or the other, is always in the dtriment Previous ... There is a latency time of the signal re-enters the Tagus concern of delay ...

From the perspective of sound is the real analog delay, so it's hot and a little "Lo-Fi", and it is beautiful!
The maximum delay is relatively short (one is 2 seconds away from a digital delay), a breath a bit and "food" not bad sound (although plugged into the effects loop of my amp These are two dsagrments Limina - but I do not call for 10 a).

In short, a typical effect anything but transparent ... but that will delight the ears of fans of the genre ...

OVERALL OPINION

Here I've had a few days (dgott opportunities for a small fee to a deposit sale ... yeah, it's made in Japan between 1983 and 1985 the ... last century !!!!) and I do not know how I can do without it now ... I had a dj analog delay, but in a rack (so much more convenient to insert on a mixer) and the big advantage is to have two delays continuously available ... and be able to launch the whirring feedback end of the big toe ... jubilant!
