Delay Artec brand. This is a Korean brand that makes its pedals in China.

Sold as an analog delay. Single, simple connection, Jack & Output imput. We can not attack two amps to create stereo effects (eg ping pong). Adapter not included, however I received a 9 V battery with the pedal. Lightweight and strong a priori. Plastic knobs. 3 settings: Time, Repeat and Mix.

Time: Adjusts the delay time.
MIX LEVEL - can mix the original sound (dry) with the delay (wet).
FEEDBACK on this or Repeat pedal - with this setting you set the number of repetitions.

Nothing negative to report on the condition that receherche a mono delay.

UTILIZATION

No brainer, it's a rather simple and intuitive pedal if you know set and use a delay.
The delay is an important but poorly used because it can damage a guitar sound.
Not really man, just two options provided sound identical to the Artec site.

SOUND QUALITY

Why a delay?

In my case, I want to grow slightly the sound of my guitar. I use a Telecaster + an old TS9 Artec related delay, all goes into a Fender Blues Junior. I do not have Aux / send).

I want to keep the spring reverb of the Blues Junior, so I adjust the delay in the Mix 1 / 4 max otherwise you risk drowning the sound and loss of accuracy. I opt for an average delay time (1 / 2) and a reduced rehearsal (fourth).

The sound is not really grown corompre the qualities of the Junior Blues. These settings are great for chorus or rhythmic riffs. The set is accurate (always a concern with a delay). The sound is spatialized, we gain momentum. This is natural, all organic residue.

For applications or Reggae Dub the Artec is really excellent: At this point the repetition time, Mix (+) provides a filter slightly twisted, the repeated notes are slightly soiled. We like it or not (really a question of hearing but in any case I do not see excessive distortion that would spoil the sound as described in a notice, cradifiées stains are "natural" for an analog delay).

OVERALL OPINION

The acquisition is recent. I will soon use it live with the blues junior high volume so I paufinerai my opinion.
For now, I find this delay very attractive, with no default key and highly competitive on price.
I love it!
