Simple mono pedal, input, output, feedback, level and duration of delay, and basta. sufficient in many cases .... miss a tap, but given the size of the beast ...

UTILIZATION

Thirty seconds is enough to make a sound. the only reason I note down is that it's decidedly difficult de'être precise adjustment of delay with such small buttons (and jme said, without tap)

OVERALL OPINION

Good little delay, but very typical vintage, and can not be used any number of ways. But bah, for the price ....

A delay, digital, non-editable MIDI or USB (and then what else), not rack ..
It is small (about 5 cm 3), input output (mono then) and what to put a 9 volt power supply (can also have a 9V battery)

There are three knobs: level (volume) feedback (number of repetitions) and time (time delay), plus a small switch that puts the time delay in one of three available slots (small, medium and large). The scope can range from 30 ms to 2600 ms (that is still two seconds and a half ... more than a lot of competition!)

UTILIZATION

Mega easy to use. the most: The volume of the delay can be strong enough to make the "slap back" to the U2, the three slices of "time range" are well distributed, and knobs, although small, is easily mastered I think. It is also troublesome to manage than any tap tempo without delay what. But with a little practice you immediately what you want.
I have never read the manual, it is useless so it's intuitive.

SOUND QUALITY

That's why (and to dwarf its size) that I took: it sounds super natural, does not blow and does not color the sound that repeats itself, does not saturate (except in some loops or one amp can not adjust the volume) no crackling or weird things (sound hole, loss of sound quality ... I think Danelectro) even if the weather is at max. The rendering is quite "vintage" in fact hot, though the sound is bright when the volume decreases and the decrease of the volume seems to me more manageable than the pedals boss (subjective + +).
bypass is great (0 breath, 0 color)

as it is mono, it prevents delusions "ping pong", and it cuts back a little space. but it does not sound "tight"

OVERALL OPINION

Practice a store of its size, not too expensive, runs on 9V power supply or battery, is set in two seconds, and its robustness is ickel despite the size. it's been two years that I have and it has not moved despite heavy use.

With experience ... I do not find useful to have a tap tempo in many cases, since I have the discrete delay to thicken a clear, or make a creamier distortion solo. But it's still his big limit.

UTILIZATION

3 buttons and a switch rglage 3 positions.
Level play button on the level of the effect from the natural sound. The delay time knob allows the rapid rgler rptitions and is coupled to the switch 3 positions (S: 20 - 160m/sec; M: 80 - 650m/sec; L: 330 - 2600m/sec). Feedback button allows rgler the intensity of the effect over time.
I lost the manual so I have no opinion about it. In Manir gnrale, use is relatively intuitive and allows a large number of variations, not empty forcment master in 5 minutes.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound quality of this delay is excellent, both in rglages rption fast (type the cho garage Jon Spencer) that type Delays Pink Floyd (Run Like Hell for example). No, breath, crack, grsillement, the bypass is excellent.Le sound is warm, like a lot.

OVERALL OPINION

I use the Delay for 3. It is strong, the sound quality is excellent and the beach really complte rglages me parat. At the time of purchase, I compared with a Boss that I had found so well. Pay around 120 in the store, I think there is a delay of excellent quality. In practice, this choice I would do.

This is a digital delay pedal made by Guyatone. I've had success with their other pedals in the past, and this is really no different. This has only one type of effect, and that's delay, which is fine considering that the effect is solid. There is a quarter inch input and output and there's also an adapter jack. This is a digital pedal but it doesn't have an interface that would allow it to be edited or updated on the computer. It's also not rackable.

UTILIZATION

Using this pedal is really very simple. It has three knobs and a switch. There is a knob for level, delay time and feedback, which are all pretty standard delay controls. The switch adjusts the parameters of the delay time, from short, medium, and long. This will give you a lot more options in the way of delay time and length, which will come in handy as you're trying different things out. This helps the pedal be a lot more versatile overall.

SOUND QUALITY

This is a digital delay, so it doesn't color the sound quite as much as an analog delay would. This can be a good thing, though, if you're really just trying to get more clear repetition or delay. I personally love analog delays but a good digital delay can really be perfect sometimes, and this is probably one of the better ones I've tried. Given it's versatility, there are a lot of different sounds you can get out of this, from a short echo to a long, almost looping delay. It can really add a lot of space to your tone and not muddy up the signal the way a lot of other pedals tend to do.

OVERALL OPINION

This is a really great digital delay. It lacks the harshness of some other digital delays and can really be a great addition to the pedal board. It's really not that expensive either, so it has that going for it as well. I'd have to recommend this pedal very highly, in spite of all my former tirades about digital delays, this one is really something else. It's still no Moogerfooger analog delay but it's still great in it's own right.

Analog voiced digital delay... more knob twisting, easy... yay!! Rackmount quality in a very, very small foot pedal package. 1/4" connections... no Midi here!

UTILIZATION

Very easy to use... as an effect. The typical user will absolutely, no questions asked, want to get an adapter with this pedal. This has a very high power draw. Eats batteries like tic tacs...AND aside from that, the battery compartment to this undersized, and lightweight pedal is a horrible design. It is sophomoric at best. The access to the battery compartment is covered by a tin plate, held together by a big black rubber band. Clumsy, difficult to attach, and worst of all... the battery feels like it needs to be forced into the space. NOT what you want to do to sensitive chips and circuit board... And not what you expect in a pedal that sells for 115.00 dollars.. but, I suppose the perspective on this would be that the price is for the quality of the effect. Get the adapter... And no worries! Other than that.. it is a straight ahead, 3 knob effect pedal that can be used without a manual... not sure mine came with one!

SOUND QUALITY

Rack mount quality in a foot pedal. Nice bypass... not True Bypass, exactly.. but buffered. I notice no tone loss with this pedal.
Using a Voodoo Lab Preamp, Carvin T100 poweramp,Cannabis Rex speakers in closed back cabs. Les Pauls,Strats,Tele's, etc. I don't use this much in my current rig, as I have a Digitech GSP2101 that I use for effects..but I have used it extensively with combo rigs, and it foots the bill.
I love the quality... better than my rack mount unit..( a little)...I don't use it because I need the other effects..and because I don't want 50 pedals on the floor in front of me....for very little difference in tone. ( I already have 2 footcontrollers and 3 other pedals in front of my rig... and all my effects essentially come from 1 unit. And hate lugging around more junk than I need!)
A solid "9" for sound quality. The bypass and organic tone beat all the other offerings in the price range ( Boss,Digitech)

OVERALL OPINION

Had this pedal for about 3 years. Love the tone, HATE the battery access. Easily solved by the adapter.. but still an annoying feature. Tried several other delays.. this is the best in it's price range. ( unless you need a bunch of other features,tap tempo,reverse,etc... we're talking strictly sound quality of repeats here.)
I think it could be a bit cheaper due to the VERY cheap chassis design.. but I suppose the argument would be, again for the quality of the sound..which is hard to beat... so, I just shut up and paid it.
If I were to buy another dedicated delay pedal, I might pony up and buy the new Nova delay or the Eventide Time factor... both of which are wayyyyy more money. More than double for either, although probably with more features than I would ever bother using. If you are looking for JUST delay.. this is the way to go.
