Analog delay up to a lot of time. I do not know exactly but a little more than half a second or something like that.
The AD-80 comes from the most famous series of Ibanez, the one that was born the TS-808 ... The decor is placed: it not Mess was the true vintage under the eyes, made in eighties.

An input jack, an output jack, three knobs (delay for the duration of delay, Blend to mix the dry / wet and repeat for repetitions.

Power is supplied with two 9V batteries ... or 18V minijack format ... The transformer is of course time and I have not found the gun recently that my father had built. I think retrieve a 18V transformer and any change the format of the decision, because in order to find 18V mj have to get up early.

The footswitch functions as a Boss I guess. It's not true-bypass, and it can be a worry. Finally, the pedal does not have much food it will signal. After, no tap-tempo since it is analog, but this type of delay is used more as an echo to make things super calls.

UTILIZATION

It's very easy to use. It is the blend at noon, we choose the length of delay, the number of repetitions and then returns to the blend to refine. When one moves the knob of delay while the effect is on, it varies the pitch, like any good self-respecting analog delay!

Ah, a feature anyway. To return to self-oscillation with the unit, there must be a short delay and a lot of repeat ... He not getting carried away if the delay is long. I think that by changing two to three settings trimpot inside this could change.

SOUND QUALITY

Analog delay of hardcore. Rehearsals are very dark and dirty, they have a dense texture and dirty, a treat!
We can go from slap-back (which will remain filthy, eh) to echo the rich. On a solo that makes really good weather for parts too.
This pedal is my first delay pedal, a gift from my father who had no more useful ... What a gift! Since then I expanded my collection of delays with some vintage digital delays and echo Spach. This pedal is really unique, I do not know if it is found in the AD-9 ... But I'm already really happy with mine.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for two years ... Right now it takes a bit the dust due to lack of supply means correct (I use no batteries, and more on a delay that would go much too fast).
I love this pedal for its sound really great, the look is quite kitsch (the pink! The pink!)
This is my first delay pedal. Since then I have tested a few others, and none like him. It is quite a place in the category of "major delays" along with the Deluxe Memory Man or RE-201 ...
The quality / price ratio ... Hard to say, I have been offered. The Argus is 140 and I see a 200 in the classifieds ... It's expensive, but it would really blow if such delay is sought. In any case I will never sell mine, it is loud and clear!
