«  Surprising. »

A good old-type bucket brigade delay. Finally, it is not supposed to be a digital delay with a filter that emulates analog. Well, should I open it to be sure. I do not want.
Supply standard 9V boss on the right side only practical if the power supply of pedalboard has a right-angle plug. Metal case of reasonable size and well finished quite nice despite a bronze poop, buttons are good, the knobs below seem soft will see how it ages.

UTILIZATION

The configuration is like a basic delay "time / repeat / level." No modulation setting or fantasies. The site description JOYO said that the delay is 25-600ms, the ear I would have said such 500ms then it must be true.
Obviously it can hardly be simpler to set this type of delay, I do not have a manual, I do not know if there is one and I do not know what we could put in it.

SOUND QUALITY

Sound, then this is the core of the thing.
True bypass they say. In fact, we would say you unplug it, the signal passes, the circuit seems to follow the sound of the guitar - I know not why but all these effects of mass worth ten bucks at the supermarket I'm always very wary of manufacturer specifications.
Sound repetitions is filthy, as expected for this type of effect. Whether it is more or less filthy or more or less faithful to the original that particular delay that is 20 times I do not know. But it has its own sound with his personality.
It self-oscillates very easily, very easily type, 3/4 race knob repeat. And as it should, it self-oscillates VERY STRONG, which is tamed quite well with the level knob. More like the knobs are soft, I think it should be easy to take a big pop hit by typing in the wrong knob with a pissed off if it is what is not my case.

OVERALL OPINION

As for the delays on which I post an opinion because I had plenty I know if I'll keep it or not after a half hour test.
I'll keep at least some time. It's nails, it looks sturdy enough, it sounds cradomomo and self-oscillates a snap. It is not far from the perfect delay in this price range.
Do not misunderstand my words, this is a real box noise that thing, do not buy it to make pretty well polished high repetitions grattiste. Buy more if like me you find the soundtrack to the very musical Forbidden Planet ;-)
