There is a delay pedal that pushes up 650/660ms about, which is huge for the full analog.
There is one input and two outputs:
- There's only one to connect it to OUTPUT, which is then a mix of the effect with the input signal (normal operation)
- If you use more the second exit, this is the image of the entrance, but in this case the OUTPUT can reproduce more than the echoes
- If we use the output DIRECT, well it is useless since it is the image of the entrance ...
I emphasize the fact that they are not stereo outputs! These are outputs or is separated from the Dry Wet anything.
Me I've never used the two outputs is a vintage effect, I use it as such, a single amplifier, it is not bad.
There are also two switches:
- The NORMAL / EFFECT, on / off what, who acts on relay true bypass for a
- The LONG / SHORT allowing the fly to pass a long period to a short delay (slap back).
Very useful if you can find a compromise between the two with knob TIME. I myself sometimes. It can also be used to make it fit into oscillation without having to touch the pots. Beautiful stage effect!
Fuelled only by external power supply (standard Boss). Probably because of the relays. But hey, it's more environmentally friendly than batteries ...

UTILIZATION

Use is standard for any delay pedal:
- TIME to adjust the delay time, to note that the more one pushes the right, the more it reduces the time. This is a montage unusual and confusing at first.
- INTENSITY is the feedback, ie the number of repetitions
- EHCO that manages the volume of repeats
- TONE who manages the tone repetitions.
Note that this delay is very "dark", even for an analog. No gloss, no pronounced mids, even with the TONE thoroughly. It's pretty confusing because we should not hesitate to push the other two settings and EHCO INTENSITY (oh no, it's not a typo!) Would be heard.
Of course, like any self-respecting analog delay, it is possible to do back in swing, and there, the TONE is very useful, in addition to other settings, to handle overflow. Bon bah

SOUND QUALITY

there is something!
Clarity, cleanliness in the sound, no breath, still not found an equivalent pure analog, with an additional delay over 600ms.
on the other hand, it is a discrete effect. It is far from intrusive, and keeps a direct sound without distorting it even with extreme settings. Should not be taken as to the Edge ...
Rehearsals are degraded slowly and quite properly, without highlighting the mids or produce breath as the majority of vintage delays.
So it's terrible to add to its thickness, roundness, without the repetitions are not obscure the melody or the rhythm of origin. I use it also as a reverb (discrete).

OVERALL OPINION

I'm surprised to be the first to give my opinion on this pedal, but it is true that I have crossed another on a shared stage, there qq time. ..
It is true that it may seem luxurious to such a price effect as discreet. And I admit to having a more piercing, with repeats dirtier, but falls short, and breath more ... Passque sometimes it's still nice to hear that the delay with its flaws!

But unless you find a replacement of the same quality with more presence, I do not separate myself one day. It is so fun to play, would it all alone at home ...

In short, I recommend this delay to lovers of pure sound (jazz, acoustic, etc. ...).

I used to recommend the digital (not pejorative, there are excellent digital delays) which will not recover in the presence or brilliance in rehearsals.

And for lead, well, it works fine, but there are others much cheaper and which one does not perceive the flaws embedded in saturation.
