UTILIZATION

Very easy to use, turn the knobs in any position and we always get a good sound.

SOUND QUALITY

Then it's terrible! I just plugs into an amp lamps equipped with a humbucker guitar and I always find the sound I can finally play veux.Je Gun's, Maiden, Led Zep, ACDC, Metallica with a only pédale.L ISF allows a range of incredible sonoritée ranging from the American type in a typed anglais.La its heat is very present and respects the grain of the guitar-ampli.Juste couple to the large metal I coupled with a graphic equalizer and then the slap! Big, big sound to go! (provided that we find the right settings). ... In short sound quality and versatility.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for four months and I put my other distortion in placard.J 've tried other brands and it comes out really lot.Un cheap, but is qualitée appointment.

What's great about this pedals is that even putting any knobs in any position ... a ring.

SOUND QUALITY

Then it's the slap ... we feel all light!
A heat meveilleuse powerful sound ... ... and like I said what is fantastic about this pedals is that even in such amount and bass background, there will be a trs's hot, not deaf and mostly usable, even in a background amount the treble, the sound is not loud masi very dry, again far from unitilisable ... same for a bottom or middles ... Azro the diffent sound is good but in both cases.
ISF ISF ... ah! A marvel!
The knob to switch a sound rather American (sound asser prcis with many acute) has a rather typical English sound (a warmer) and of course this can rgler between the two .. is a knob!
Ranging from clean to hard rock, to the crunch rock ect ...
The only small problem is what does not go far enough in the saturation ...
a little bit just to mtal (at least the big mtal), in which case it will move to the booster or the model HT dist X.
In short it's a wonder ... and what versatility! A very large number of choice ...

OVERALL OPINION

Bon bah immedia ... that comes with that for 189 euros, a bit expensive but it's true at all lamp and something else ... I try a tube platinum AMT in the same range of prices (very beautiful but too little gain versatile ...) and the ibanez tube king home (really horrible looking! but also versatile)
I play on an all-tube amp so the rendering is fantastic ... I tried it on a transistor aps ...
I would do this choice of course, a brand that grew by the day and that we should not put cot ...
Not intended for the big big mtaleux ... even if it is still possible to make mtal but not in the big big ... the only small problem ...

SOUND QUALITY

From the smallest to the big crunch distortion American English through the sound, everything is possible on this pedal, and whatever the position of the knobs (like the previous opinion ds), it sounds. It warms the sound of the amp (JCM 2000 TSL 602 in the clear for Test + P90 Les Paul DC)
Even pushing 90 P in their corner, in large distortion, the bass are not runny, the mids and treble are nice, not aggressive. These microphones are sometimes difficult with large saturation, well then, not at all!
I'll have to try it with double qd same.

OVERALL OPINION

A friend lent me, I have been trying today and I was convinced from the start. I tried many other distos before this one, it moves the front runners ds issue price / quality ratio.
Only drawback: the weight and size, but if you want the lamp, there's not much choice ...

Blackstar has made a huge splash on the amp world in recent years. They have made great sounding fantastically priced amps for the masses. They have been able to keep their prices very low and that is a thng that has propelled them into stardom. They have successfully taking a huge niche in the market over the last few years. To add to their prestige they have included a whole line of distortion pedals as well.

This pedal is almost a full preamp in a pedal form. This pedal has gain, bass, middle, treble, ISF, and level. This is pretty much the exact same control knob front panel as many of their amps. This has a speaker simulated output which is also on their regular amps. So this pedal is basically a preamp peal.

SOUND QUALITY

The tone of this pedal is gritty and very high gain. This pedal actually sound like a overidrven tube amp. I am not a distortion pedal guy. I generally like to get my tone and gain from the amps preamp combined with the power tube section of the amp. However, this pedal comes as close to the real deal as I have heard from any pedal. This pedal recreates what sound you would hear out of a valve tube amp.

You get a very chunky creamy overdrive tone that you can play excellent lead with but even better rhythm's with. Th gain from this pedal is very addicting and just makes you want to crank up your amp to loud obnoxious volumes. It has a great fat tone and the voicing is very British but just fits perfectly to the rest of the BLackstar line of pedals and amps.

OVERALL OPINION

You can pick these peals up new for right at around $199, which is not bad for a great sounding preamp pedal. I would recommend this pedal to anyone who has a clean amp and needs a high gain tone out of that amp. You get a great sounding tone and for not a whole lot of money. This is one of the best sounding units that I have ever heard and for this price it is a no brainer.

The strength of the housing inspires confidence!
Too bad all the same food that is specific to this pedal, you can not connect it to a power supply "spider".

UTILIZATION

The operation of the pedal is very simple. However, the wide range of sounds available is very wide. The complexity arises therefore not from the ergonomics of the pedal but its wealth!
