This is a high quality boutique pedal!
UTILIZATION
The use is very simple.
There are different possible settings to get different tones (the big crunch lead), one could almost have 2 Blackie it would not seem too much.
The mini switch on the pedal to switch the mode to Silicon Germanium mode and this is again offering a real difference in the minutes, one being more compressed than the other.
SOUND QUALITY
I am a heavy user of pedal Pete Cornish, which is a reference in the field. Well that Blackie was not ashamed of the comparison because it sounds beautifully.
Can move from one mode to Silicon Germanium mode is the icing on the cake because it expands the sonic palette.
Another quality of this Blackie, and that's what I was looking for above all is that it can be used in combination with other pedals fuzz, overdrive, distortion.
OVERALL OPINION
The price / quality ratio is totally justified, I even shopped more expensive pedals and less ringing !!
I tried another pedal made by Doc Music Station and is the same conclusion, we are in the high-end level sound quality and workmanship.
This pedal meets my expectations I would do this choice without hesitation
Besides handmade and France, it is important to note this because there is one quality at the top of the basket.
