"Must stop dreaming ..." It's not me, it's them who are saying!

Mine is black / white (SSS), purchased alone, it is 2000 (if I understand correctly) and paid € 60 (will not put much more next state).

So I looked for a lease it is information on the body. So the Agathis (a girlfriend to "Agathe Blues") and that is why it is black because this wood is quite irregular. The body appears in three parts, because even black can clearly see the connection ... The paint does not seem terrible to me, there is a place I do not know if it's a drip or a mild shock.
Vibrato I not touch (the stem is peated in, raa system screwing Fender) and the tiny screws that adjust the string height of the bridge claw my hand when I scratched the strings: nice! Seller: "it was settled by a Luthier" are you sure this is not a flutier instead? Or maybe it's the price of cheap!
The Channel I is not very regular, the keys I want to polish them so they are dull, stickers used to mark the boxes you wonder when they will steer.
For pickups I would tell you, I will disassemble anyway. Bo I spend worn strings and knobs that crachotent a chouilla is not nef either.

For the rest I wanted alder or ash, even on a Squier Agathis Gave it! Okay this is lighter but as my next tour is not expected before 2030, I have time to change. And I already have a guitar input-end Agathis is something else finish level! It's a Whale ST (like Ibanez) made in Indonesia from the same period (see my article on this model on this site). In addition to the handle on the Squier is much less pleasant, the other is a Highway.

After her: At least I change the strings, then I'm biased. Then I lent my SRV, Clapton and my my Gilmour is being repaired, so I nothing to compare ... If she seems to have a good sustain.

In short, as there is a first time for everything is a beginner guitar. If I were to buy this new thing (which I would not do), I lorgnerai the side of the competition too. Oh yes that's right it says Fender somewhere small on the head !!

I made my first steps with this kit (a friend had kindly lent me at the time) and I must say it has done its job for a few months or I had.

- Guitar: Squier Bullet Strat base, the handle is not very pleasant, it too often and tune the violin is really cheap but it is when you start not know and feels great stuff with the hands! !
- The amp: Squier SP10 2-channel (for a small 10w AC surprised me in a good sense), the clean is more than adequate but the distortion is far from warm and round sound fenderien!

The pros: - clean channel
- 2 channels
- Guitar (in my kit it was red) ^ t rather pretty to look at
- All not bulky
The -: - poor violin
- Lifts which are very poorly their job
- Handle very unpleasant

The value for money is not the best but when you have it on hand we will not spit either!
I recommend it to anyone What not afford to buy guitar and amp separately WHICH BEGIN otherwise you will be disappointed I know you!

I use my pack squier for 1 week.

I'll start with what I like best of this pack is the guitar of course! The guitar is quite heavy, I think it's just the wood used () key of the handle is rather pleasant to the touch (Rosewood). Sound level, it is downright good (it's fender!). Three single coil pickups, two knobs detonalité (1 tone knob for the neck pickup, one for the micro environment) and a volume knob. The guitar sounds good and you get good (no effect) to make sounds as well as blue reggae or rock. As against the hardness of the vibrato is poor, however, that there are three spring and was too afraid to force it!

I have not sold with the cover, faux leather (fortunately woodbrass.com offered a cover and more ...) cable, saturated in sound is too sensitive. And amplifiers (Squier SP-10 10-watt) is although its clean, its overdrive, playing in a room, can not exceed the level 2 volume otherwise it MUG (overdrive not adjustable) but otherwise I'm still happy.

I did not try other models before buying this guitar since I bought it online, but I did not think FENDER above and I'm not disappointed!

I had my pack to 165 instead of the normal price, giving I am more than happy to take over and I paid but if not, I still think that the pack is well worth its high price (between 300 and € 330, it depends on the store).

Yes, with experience, I would do gladly that choice. To start the guitar is at the top, but the amps still leaves much to be desired!
I suggest you make this choice if you're like me and you play right in your room, the amp is more than enough.

In view of the agreement correct (if not abuse of the vibrato of course, p)
-Sounds pretty good compared to other guitars in the same price range.
-Clean sound of the amp
-The tuner rather precise

-The strap does very well after some time ... be careful not to drop your scratching the floor, p
-The vintage vibrato is a bit hard, it can interfere with some. Personally, I got quickly used to ... and then not hesitate to force, contrary to his reputation, he is strong!
-No middle setting on the amp
-Saturation of the amplifier rather messy, difficult to master when you're a beginner. But with a little more experience, you end up drawing something not too bad.
-The cover faux leather style "body bag" just awful, and that protects the guitar as dust, but not shock!
Picks them a little too soft for my taste, but as they say, "tastes and colors, it can not be discussed!"
==> I have not tried other models before buying, but I have tried several in the same price range after such that Epiphone LP Special, Ibanez Gax 30 ... the Squier Stratocaster seemed much more convincing, and certainly more comfortable in the game (run smooth, easy access to acute body of the guitar that follows the body of the guitar ...)
==> I paid € 170 on a German site, the value for money seems pretty good.

==> Yes, I think I would do the same choice, given my financial means of the time. HOWEVER, if you can invest a little more, take a Squier Stratocaster alone, and a better amp part, without forgetting the cable, a small tuner and picks, and why not a strap, you will eventually replace the amp The cover and the strap anyway when you progress.
on the other hand, if you just want to mumuse in your room, or show off to your friends / your girlfriend, then this package is more than enough, p

One must keep in mind that this is a skyscraper that we can not compare to a Fender Start US course. It is very nice, but for its price range.
As for the rest of the pack, well ... it's stuff to learn, but for the price should not expect a 100 watts tube XD

This guitar would be better put to use as fire wood then actually playing. The pickups are very weak and brittle sounding. The combination of this guitar with the Fender amp that you get in the pack is just ear piecing bad. I completely understand that this is a starter pack for the uninformed, but for any experienced player putting their hands on this guitar will leave them scratching their head wondering who would want to continue to learn the guitar if they were giving this thing.

Again I'll say this guitar is fine for someone exploring whether or not they want to play the electric guitar. In that case this is a fine guitar to try out. However, you may never want to play guitar again after playing this thing.

Not a hard amp to get used to. It doesn't have that many control knobs to get in the way. The thing has two channels and in my opinion it should have some amp modeling or something else to go along with this thing. To me the clean are fantastic but the dirty channel is really thin brittle and everything a solid state amp sounds like. It has no character or soul in the tone and you ave to fight the thing to make a decent sound out of it.

This guitar comes with a standard Fender Stratocaster pickup setup with three individual single coil pickups. This one comes in a black paint finish that looks as cheap and it sounds. The guitar itself has a feel that doesn't appeal as an easy guitar or even a comfortable guitar.

I am not sure what the price of these guitars are new. I can't imagine them being any more than $200 tops. These are basic beginners guitars. These things will sound like the feel and look....not good. These do not feel like a real Fender Stratocaster and if you have played a real American one then this is big let down. The best thing for you to do to maximize the value os to get this guitar in that pack thing where you get the amp and the tuner with the picks, strap, and gig bag.

I would recommend this guitar to anyone other than a parent trying to get their kids interested in paying the guitar. You won't need to spend a whole lot and for the experiment of teaching kids is is a no brainer. If you want to get an electric guitar because you are moving away from the acoustic this is not going to be your thing. You will get easily frustrated.

I used the guitar for almost two years. I bought it when I started back up playing the guitar. During this time of exploration and trying to get back my chops while trying to improve from where I left off, this guitar served me well. It had enough tonal range for me at that point in my development. The 22 frets and decent action were adequate at that point. It even had a tremolo unit, which was cool. Unfortunately, I got to the point where the 22 frets weren't enough. The action and playability wasn't as good anymore. I didn't see the need to get it set up as I felt it was time to move on and upgrade to my current Ibanez. I didn't try many other models, because this is precisely what I needed at the time, a beginner pack. For the price, it did just the trick for what I needed it for at the time. There are much better choices right now for this price range (about $200), but to be fair, this was pretty much the right choice at the time of purchase.
