Value For Money :
Excellent
This is a "Phaser" analog in sound effect that gives a "rotating" the best thing to a test, or to see on the net there is a lot of demos comprehensive.
It's all "analog" no editing possible ... we are in 7O '!
In terms of connectivity, and although Jack / Jack and Food there is no simpler! (Input / output and power supply)
Rackable? not, or if you are handy then ....
For all this I put 8 because it is mega easy to use and good quality.
UTILIZATION
Well, it's simplistic, one-hop industry and it works immediately!
No editing here, "dose" effect with large central knob "rate" a subtle! switch "color" which offers the possibility to assay its effect differs
I had no manual, I got mine used, but even new manual was not very useful! you branches, you run until you get good sound and presto!
SOUND QUALITY
What I like is the quality of the effect remains clean and warm regardless of his with which I use (light, crunch, distortion ...) it goes at ease and in no time the knob!
I use it mainly with my Start and other guitars (see my profile) when I change guitars I adjust with the big knob and hop off you go!
I love everything in it although it is slightly more "shy" as its namesake or a recent mxr, I also like the more Electro-Harmonix, when you put all the sounds you get max "space" of more nice effect (not always exploitable unless given in the experimental ....)
OVERALL OPINION
As mentioned earlier, what I like most is the quality of the effect, the small sounds more "space", its ease of utilistaion and the fact that it mixes well with other effects.
I tried other pedals (a lot of very good quality for that matter) but rather seeking a rock indeed, and goes everywhere typed I am not too satisfied.
It is no longer new, or so we are moving towards the recent model which is excellent in quality / price ratio, the model of 1979 is provided to find at a reasonable price a very good price / quality ratio !
I would do this choice without any hesitation ...
