13mm Huflon? Yes please! I have this plectrum in the Anvil XL shape. It is my thickest pick in the house. I find myself ALWAYS finding a reason to use it! It is VERY interesting to hold. It is dense, and it almost feels like a large eraser. Once you put it to the strings though, it’s like a Porsche 911. It fits in your hand like a glove, and it’s NIMBLE as can be. This material is WICKED looking. Big and neon green?! Yes please, again. This self lubricating material glides over the strings so effortlessly! It’s a bit trippy. The tip is sharp, so it look as though it needs to be worked in from playing in order to accommodate speed and precision. This is simply not the case! Put it to the strings, and tell me it’s not one of the easiest and most deceiving experiences of your life! BIG means comfy. Big doesn’t always mean nimble. But with Patrick’s work, it means nimble, comfy, cool looking, and this head turner flies like someone put olive oil on it! But the attack is SHARP! Again, I can’t stress enough what an interesting and incredible experience it is, playing this thing. The acrylic lineup from Patrick is perfection. But this material is SO worth having something very different, and EQUALLY as useable. It is a porous material. The sharp attack still retains a controlled softness to it. This is in regard to the impact on your hand physically. It’s almost like having a really smooth suspension in a car, but at the same time, feeling everything the car is doing. Perfect balance. It’s a smooth, direct, and aggressive ride. It’s a Porsche of a pick! Can ya dig?
