I used this set for 3 years.

This microphone is dedicated to each position:
Neck (neck) - drivers black / green / white
Mid (Center) - drivers black / green / yellow
Bridge (bridge) conductive black / green / red

In noiseless, I used the LaceSensor Gold / red / blue / silver humbucker and red / red
These new pickups fitted to the Start Deluxe since 2000 seems to me there. Developed with Bill Lawrence, their peculiarity is due to the fact that the pole pieces are made of an alloy called Samarium Cobalt whose properties are to have similar characteristics with the Alnico V magnetic flux less powerful. The most interesting result of this flow is reduced to allow the string to vibrate longer (sustain) with a conventional magnet. The sound is close to the alnico pickups, maybe a little less slamming. It's a beautiful sound of Start, clear, bright, crystalline without showing weakness in the bass, but they are singles, not humbuckers, let it be said.

It is a micro imposing, heavy, whose height is 1 / 3 more than the standard pickups. No problem so far, if you want to exchange with the standard, the cavities are deep enough.
The blocks are stacked. The bottom gets a Fender logo and the letters NK, MD and BG indicate its position on the pickguard. The system is really noiseless noiseless, a feast for the sound engineers who are tearing their hair with guitars who snore.

It is a micro not available commercially because manufactured primarily for Fender, it would be in the price range of hot and noiseless Kinman 250 to € 270 for a set of three and a bit more unity. Anyway, good microphones are expensive.

I have traded for two Bill Lawrence L280 and I put a Humbucker Seymour Pearly Gates Chevallet (I have a S1). The 280S has something more difficult to define, perhaps more punch, clarity also, at least it suits me better but still on, the difference is not as ENOOORMEU between the poor and good.

A microphone to advise without hesitation.
