«  Ben said so! »

I had the first version of the set, with no possibility to choose the phase of serious microphone, which I mounted on my late baja telecaster. The sound was great, but the set was afflicted with a terrible microphonics, unusable in fact.
The seller has replaced me for mkII version, with the microphone to two major drivers, which I mounted on a tele bigsby japan fifties. No more worries of microphonics, the fever is quite sensitive to high gain but in the normality of this type of guitar I would say.
The sound? Ben then duffer's completely gorgeous! The detail is falling steeply, spend all the nuances, it's simple we not recognize the guitar (although it was also very good). The microphone is serious flute, with a very definite characteristic wooded side of the TV, very medium tonal balance, bass slightly lower micro flat.
The microphone is totally cute in acute accuracy, staccato attacks in disto can not get out clearer and precise, it is splendid. The grain is very catchy, the tonal balance is more V than his colleague.
Zero noise for the serious, light buzz for acute disto supported.
Attention to the size of the micro serious is almost twice as high as it has replaced the simple, depending on your tv you will not be room to screw on the bottom as the bigsby.
A combination of 300 roros but nothing compared to the result, duffer that's good!
I put ten despite the price and the feedback of the bridge in heavy distortion (if you want a tv for the graouh take jim root).
