«  Effective but not that ... »

I used this camera for some time with my amp I own for many years, a Bogner XTC 101B.
Departure for rehearsals so you can easily manage your volume and in order to use live by having a master volume next to me, that of being behind XTC, telling me more than I was able to push a little amp.
I had not tried other attenuators before but seeing the reviews and the price of it, I'm tempted.
First test repetition conquered! It does what you ask him, it attenuates the signal without changing.

Test live on big stage (we are 10 musicians in my band): here it goes bad because with the attenuator thoroughly with my volume at 12 o'clock on the amp, I had less volume (not even enough) that 10H with my volume without an attenuator while without an attenuator, the difference between 10H and 12H volume is pretty huge, so this loss of 3dB office without mitigation has not suited me, so I sold the device. I would have had a lot to push the amp get almost without attenuation while my volume without mitigation, the master at 10am on the amp suits me.

If I ever have the means, I will go on a Torpedo Reload, for now, I remain as I was.

This unit to play at home or by repeating is fine for the live with a little more demanding, I do not think it's appropriate because it already decreases the volume without touching anything, this n ' is that I think in my case with my amp.
