«  Perfect for Jazz »

Change made in my HP SuperChampXD this morning for a Eminence Lil Buddy.
The operation took me only 10 minutes: removing the two rear plates, the original HP + connectivity, and reassembly of the Lil Buddy.
First, what is surprising is the much greater weight compared to the original HP! Secondly, the fact that HP is fixed with 4 screws, usually there are more, but reassuring is that they are metal screws with insert, therefore allowing more robust fixings removal procedure is safe damage the cabinet.
The third surprise, not the least of which is the difference in sound reproduction, compared to the original, the Eminence sounds more full, warm and fleshy, which is perfect for jazz and hair cell sound I was looking for , also it sounds more powerful and also seems to have better power handling, but that I have not been able to test, not wanting to permanently angry with my neighborhood.
Tried with different voicings of the SCXD, including overdrive and distos found its fullest and this powerful, very medium I like to power chords or solo.
Anyway, I'm really pleased and impressed by the Lil Buddy gives me the impression of having changed to a higher amp model, nearly matching a Princeton example.
My clone L5 connected to it, I find that illustrious typed "Smoky Jazz Club", not surprising when you realize that ultimately membrane Lil Buddy is made from hemp ..
