These strings i felt were suprisingly good. I can't really say if they do anything as advertised because...they don't actually advertise that these strings actually DO anything different from regular strings? Better pitch and definition and in lower tunings? On a 10-46 gauge? I don't think it matters what you use, if you're tuning low, you don't use 10s. However, I often tune between drop D and Eb sometimes depending on the song or what the band is doing and haven’t had any real problems getting the strings in tune. I’ve made it a habit to always double or triple check the tuning once I’ve gone into it, for each string but I’ve found that peace of mind with these strings and only needed to DOUBLE check rather than triple+ check. I believe this is probably one of dunlop’s first venture into the product lines for strings, I can’t remember Dunlop ever making strings before and so their first entry into the string world is going to be a bit shaky considering what they’ve been known for was for pedals etc.

Anyway the strings felt quite good, and reminded me a lot actually of DR strings, it had the same sorta feel. Which is a good feel btw. And the strings lasted quite some time, pretty much again, the same as DR strings. Suprisingly good for what I originally thought. I got these as a sample set and wouldn't mind paying for'em the next time around if they were the only sets left.The tone was thick and clear too, not overly bright like some daddarios would be. But then again if I compare'em to strings that I already use it's on par. So yes it's good considering they're on par, but bad because after years and years of developing etc, NOW they're on par? However, they are worth trying if one feels like trying something new, strings are one of the most cheapest investments in changing the tone of your guitar it’s almost always worth trying new strings every now and then.
