I received this little surprise gadjet today! thank you and yes the black box of the musician!
as was said before tuning the technology used is not very common ... but after a test, it works perfectly! on the other hand in the notice of gromeul, is said to be the reflection of two LED are aligned, then they should just stop moving. jlai not tried it yet away from home so I can not really invent its portability ... but this thing must weigh 20gr everything peter! and the size of a pick holder (what sticks to the body of the guitar). no info su rla life of the battery in the manual, but the lithium button batteries normally last very long. I do not know if I made the purchase of this tuner because I was free! yay!

I t sduit by the smallness of the machine, the absence of cabling and the possibility to agree in a noisy environment.

Bad is a tuner, I have a lot on my RP350, my Pocketpod, an old man who walks with a 9V battery (my first ^ ^), I have even one of my rope cutter ...

For the short time o the unit has been running the very first time I still find the PROCD interresting. I issue the Reserved still on the accuracy of the tuning over a cable tuner. In my view, is aptly called 'SOS Tuner', ie, it must be used in emergencies but not as the main tuner.

If I had the possibility to make sure the device works before purchase so, otherwise not.

A good idea on paper, I too was seduced by the concept and some demo videos I could find on the web, but what a disappointment at the reception!

Unpacking, and just before it, this gizmo is separated into two plastic ultra-cheap way to allowing me to appreciate quality workmanship unworthy even of an Asian country!

I re-clipped the two ends of knock, I take the guitar and try: hum ... One of the two light emitting diodes: light, it does not work!?

I discovered Planet Waves for the quality of their cables, but then I doubt the coup ...

Since I have a korg aw-2G, and after having tried many tuners, I'd say it's the top: practical on-bryant (piezo), fast and precise, ultra compact and pretty too!

The Planet Waves S.O.S. is an interesting tuner that offers users a different method to tune their guitar or other stringed instrument.  I have only used this for guitar and for playing at home, meaning I haven't brought it to any gigs as I use a Boss TU-2 tuner for live shows and that it also what I use most of the time at home.  I got the Planet Waves S.O.S. for free with a few packs of strings and was eager to see how well it would work, but was a bit surprised that I couldn't get the hang of it right away.  While it is a little bit tricky to understand at first, once you get the hang out it I think that you'll enjoy using it as it making tuning pretty easy.  There isn't much to it, but you have to make sure that you can read the light properly to gauge if you are in tune or not.  While it is a unique tuner, I do not think that it is the most effective method.  Whether you need a tuner for home use or for gigging, I would recommend going with something a bit more reliable like a pedal version of a tuner, as I find that that is the best method for myself.  The price of this I do not really know since I got it for free, but since I got it for free I can assume that it won't cost all that much if you want to pick one up and while it is a cheap option for a tuner, if you are using it for live shows I would strongly recommend getting pedal.  This is definitely worth a look at but to me, while unique, this isn't the best method for tuning your guitar.
