This pedal is fairly rare. HomeBrew Electronics pedals all are manufactured by hand in small quantities in the USA.

Wah this team can be a self-inductance Yellow (read his vintage) or Red (read modern sound). As a reminder, this is the self inductance makes the wah sound (eg the famous Fasel Cry Baby).
Mine is a team of self-inductance yellow.

For the rest:
Completely analog-
- Flip crmaillre
- Switch: Mechanical
- Audio frequency drives scans: 300 Hz 3 kHz
- Trim pots to change the internal gain and Q (wah depth)
- Tmoin light activation effect
- Powered by 9V battery or adapter (not supplied transformer)

Boti mtallique the most beautiful effect. Srieuse construction. Excellent finish. A pedal that exudes craftsmanship.

UTILIZATION

It is a constant among the top manufacturers of wah-end: the internal trim pots! Not practical at all!
Personally I broke the plate of the pedal at LOWER Dremel accder there more easily. Despite all not empty to change the Q factor and the boost, even under these conditions.

The rest is specific on the scale, sensitive and progressive. But ... see next item!
The Switch: Mechanical is a bit too sensitive: beware the effect of involuntary cuts!

SOUND QUALITY

First test: I plug the wah. The bypass is transparent. J'enclenche effect: well, it is o wah?? The sound is smothered and the scale has little effect on the scanning frequency drives, except at the end of the race. Dception! This is the most rotten pedal I've ever given t play! Unusable!

And then I say open the pedal and see what I can do. Once the calibration of scanning potentiomtre frquences (crmaillre) again, the pedal sounds superbly. The rocker ragit perfection and I finally found a vintage wah fly high.
The gain will boost the simple transparent overdrive nervous giving hormones to the filter. The regulation of the focus is very effective Q factor ranging from round and velvety wah sounds more funky and dramatic.

But how to explain this default calibration on a pedal high-end manufactures hand?? Inexcusable!

Anyway I put a nice 9 / 10 because once the pedal properly calibrated, the sounds are superb. But for nophyte, the disappointment is violent and the return of the pedal immediate.

OVERALL OPINION

Wah a well constructed, presents well, with vintage sounds beautiful.
The change of gain and Q provide a nice versatility.

2 default:
- The internal trim pots, unfortunately classic wahs on high-end
- Calibration of dsastreux potentiomtre sweeping frquences: inexcusable that level range!

I guess this default calibration is exceptional, but it calls into question the quality of HBE contrle.
