Hal Leonard has announced the launch of the Tipbook series in a new, redesigned, format.
Each book covers one instrument, whether guitar or drums, cello or saxophone. Interested in amps? Working on vocals? The Tipbook series is designed to offer accessible technical information and important tips for finding the best instrument for your needs.
Each book offers an introduction to the instrument; a glossary of terminology; finding a teacher; comparing and selecting instruments and accessories; tuning, adjusting, and maintaining your instrument; unbiased information about brands and manufacturers; and numerous illustrations.
And the books feature an online component — readers can go further into the topic by accessing audio and video clips at www.tipcode.com.
Each book is priced at $14.95.
