I use this amp for four months.
-What I like about this amp is the smooth treble and high power.
I do not like it's a little tlcomande rcalcitrante and lightweight transformer noise.

I ssay many other amps have a sound raliste and warm it is better and sries Oubie NAD C (320 C Bee, for example). Amps current common brands (Onkyo, Nad, Harman Kardon, etc ...) often grow in the high mdium becomes tiring and treble that in addition to rvle too "dry" and pr feels.
With the exeption of some amps from Marantz, Roksan, Kora and other stuff most of the current quickly become tiresome high and medium volume, this amp sound dlivre trs soft and even enjoyable nophyte for electronic music and even go better. In addition it has rglages Grave - acute that are useful according to the piece of cost or style of music.
The sound is not great when the amp is new => grave a little soft and a bit messy. Then strangely when he turned one month about the sound becomes a serious gnial Submitted, striking clarity and an exellent.

In short I was looking for a sound a little "tube" (bass and more powerful) and it comes close Carat lot.
The ratio quality price is right.
Given the current supply from the Roksan Kandy amp and some other people with fewer opportunities Carat offers a good compromise.
