I tried some models (Akai Technics Kenwood ... others I can not remember ...)
the Onkyo seems by far the cleanest
Everything has been said about its features and connectivity not bother to redo the tower ...
As mentioned in another post, musicality and really excellent (I would say that the stereo image is well balanced - and yes even for the amp it is important - excellent dynamic treble ... maybe a little too "crillards" but also depends on the type of speakers that are used ... for my part have the Technics that in 40 years so can not be well suited.
What qui'il be, I rediscovered my CD, my Vinyl. As part of a budding audiophile listening to the "musicians" seem to be in the room but (yes there is a but) have quickly realized that there are many more songs and albums in poorly recorded, badly mastered , which proves that this amp is unforgiving and the sound as it is! this is in my opinion (at the risk of purists scream) good audiophile amp because it demonstrates a degree of neutrality (and also home theater)
I had used for 69 euros (it's almost given that price) and I do not regret my choice.
I redirais as previously, if you find one in good condition of Cygnus do not hesitate one second!
