Best value: Excellent
The TX-NR609 receiver is THX Select2 Plus certified network offering seven channels of 160 watts, two subwoofer outputs, a USB port, Ethernet port and six HDMI 1.4 inputs.

In addition to its Internet connection that provides access to radio stations and online music services (Spotify Premium, Napster, Last.fm, vTuner), the audio / video system Onkyo TX-NR609 offers an extensive connection .

There are 6 including HDMI, four digital audio inputs and 2 outputs for subwoofer. Major surround sound formats are supported (DTS-HD MA, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Pro Logic IIz, Audyssey DSX) and the calibration system of sound to the room is particularly effective!

Onkyo finally swapped his Faroudja scaler performance subdued by a very promising with Marvell Qdeo processing, which offers a 1080p upscaling and 4K, a little ahead of its time. This is not the only novelty of this amplifier 7.2, Onkyo is needed again in terms of features / price, with a support network and a USB port which handles audio and iPhone, as well as the ability to control this amp with IOS applications.

Onkyo amps are known for sound quality they deliver and this model is no exception. Clarity and precision are excellent for music in stereo and surround effects really stunning home theater setup in 7.1.
Overall, the Onkyo TX-NR609 is a good product packed with features that go great.

To summarize, a product of high quality, excellent value for money.
No complaints except that the user guide too light and lacking in detail: even knowing me I took some time before succeeding in all settings.
