Have you tried many other models before buying it?
No ... or so headphones available to me as a bundle with other products ... Brief nothing to do with the Porta Pro in terms of quality.

What is so special that you love the most, least?
+ Ease of use due to its lightness. (No pain in the ears)
+ The frequency response is linear. Note, two small bumps in the bass and treble. Is negligible.

Compared to the Sennheiser PX200 (highly rated on this site), the Koss PortaPro is more comfortable, we feel less on the bay windows, the bass is better, more musical, less transparency in the treble. I prefer the Koss to listen to music and PX200 for decision ambience sounds.

The sound much clearer and chased my old ITE, I use it mainly equilibrated with my MP3 player optimized for a flat rponse (iAUDIO in Rockbox). Also the size?

Their fragility. I do not trs t careful, it's true, but the jack has a loose connection recently, which will force me to replace it :-( Other dtail boring: the cables spend their time twisting. But the apparent fragility of the structure does not reflte MODEL physical weaknesses. And finally, something normal for this type of headphones means normment the collection's outdoor and vice versa. So by not super mobility

For use in mobility forcment not, I may be to turn to the ITE (Shure E2C? ...). To listen to music in a quiet, certainly.

I use these headphones for a month now and not much to complain about.

It is lightweight, can be a bit too much which may suggest that it is a little cheap bill. Like other reviews I'm not very confident about its longevity. Although I think we can trust Koss who also plays on his reputation for advertising. The sound is very well rendered, real serious (I'm bass player) the highs are good. As for the serious media can be a bit feeble but again nothing nasty for headphones at this price point. It was soon surprised by the 80's headphone, to the point where I thought I had a toy, a walkman headphones of the 80s (you know those headphones with orange ...) but we are also surprised by the quality of sound . The connectors are gold-plated. A small thing to say about the length of the wire (a bit short in my opinion) but again nothing too serious. Note that this headphone is guaranteed for life!

I have not tried 36 models and I especially relied on the advice of other users Audiofanzine. I needed a headphone quickly enregisrer mini studio and now, an internet search, a command and that's it. Two days after I received it at home.

The price / quality ratio is probably the best that can be found on the market. No complaints.

It's been two days dj I use with my Creative Zen Touch.
Superb bass at last! Balance in the other frequencies.
I have tried many, it's a bit better than the PX-100, and MUCH better than PX-200 ... Although the PX-200 has great clean sounds.
For 30 via the Amazon excluding shipping, is a case in 79 Virgin Flac & Cie is a scam pure and simple! I'm still shocked!
I find it comfortable, it's an open headphone so that does not isolate, but isolated enough for the street, the RER in tronons not too noisy.

I do it again if that choice has biensr is still in the same price, because 79 ... EXAGRES should not the margin they are distributors ... !
