How long have you use it?

Since not long (about 2 months), I'm used to buy, they have 12 years, but it works wonderfully !!
What is the particular feature you like best and least?

What I prefer is the deep bass emisent 2 boomers of 20 cm, and clarity of SGBA !! There's nothing I do not like !!

Have you tried many other models before acqurir?

I had a pair of Raveland Discobox CA 180 (Was not that the piezo), low on B & W are present and deeper and more present as acute and accurate !!

    How do you report qualitprix?

I find it excellent, but the pair in 1000 it's still expensive, anyway it's upscale, well I the boards pay 100 for the used pair

If one day, someone sold a pair of these speakers, it's on, I bought !!

I bought them the early '90s for about $!300 (HI-FI cable included). They have been my main speakers for 22 years and replaced my Martin Speakers USA 110 Micro-Max, which I still have but use only as rear speakers.

I bought them after listening to them. I went to the shop with the idea of replacing my Martins with a Triphonique model that would take up less space in my living room and I ended up with these speakers. I was seduced by their sound quality that dwarfed the Bose Triphonique back then.

They were originally amplified with a Luxman LV-100 and then with a Kenwood KA-V8500. Nothing extraordinary, but a perfect match for the B&W.

I would buy the speakers again, but I'd change the amp. I like to keep the speakers, both for sentimental reasons as for their excellent sound quality.

They are not MartinLogan Electrostatic, which are the most extraordinary thing I have ever heard. They simply disappear to the benefit of the music and the musicians, allowing you to really hear them, and even picture them.

But what seduced me and is always relevant, can be summarized in three words: Dynamics, Warmth, Power. Listening to Vivaldi or Wagner, Jazz or Metal, they can cope with anything you through at them. The sound is clean and detailed, from the bottom to the high end.

The possibility to use two vent lengths (short and long) or to shut it off allows a very broad adjustment of the speakers according to the room. What's more, they can be bi-amplified!

The only problem with this type of speakers is their size when you want to install them in reduced spaces or rooms with lots of furniture. Even if they are not the best speakers out there, they require an appropriate space. However, I have them hidden behind the shelfs that surround my plasma, which speaks highly of their quality and versatility. And even in this more than questionable position, they deliver!

With an original design, a modified three-way that features a tweeter and two woofers (20cm) with a crossover at 400Hz, the result is stunning and impeccable.

Bottom line, I don't regret having taken the risk back then, especially since they don't seem to age,

They have also given me great results for my home cinema. I'm looking forward to see what they deliver with the new amp.

    I just got them
The quality is excellent, both in the high and bottom end (two 8" woofers + vent on the rear). Normally they deliver 150Wrms/4ohms with a filter.
    What I like least: nothing!!!
    They have a superb finish

How would you rate its value for money?
I don't know how much these speakers cost, but if their price is what other people have written here (about $1000), they are expensive, although I got mine for $25 the pair (my dad made me a good price for my birthday, isn't that cool?)

They are very good and I would buy them again if I had to.

I've had these speakers since I bought them secondhand 18 months ago.
I had already published a review, but I'm updating it.
At the price I bought them, it was an awesome deal.
What I like best is their sound. It's a pity that it has a small dip in the mids. I would've preferred more aggressive mids, but you can't have everything; besides, you can always correct it.
It has a clean-cut design, despite the box made of medium-thickness chipboard.
Other than that, the quality of the materials is very high:

Other than that, the quality of the materials is very high:
    - The woofers have an aluminum chassis, a plastic diaphragm (I don't know what material it is), a suspension also made of plastic, which has the advantage of standing well the test of time, unlike foam.
    - The tweeters are heavy enough (I opened up the speakers) and they seem to be made of a pretty solid material.
    - They come with 2 vents, a short and a long one, depending on the type of lows you want.
    - Comprehensive connections and the speakers are bi-amplified
    - Anti-vibration feet on the bottom of the speakers.

They are no longer made, they are 14 years-old! Apart from a couple of aesthetic defects, they don't have a single wrinkle and I like them a lot.
