I have this pair of Bisquine for six months, associated with a small integrated Electrocompaniet ECI 2. Strengths, in my opinion: stereo and airy space, mid / high definition copy of one, the sound is cut with a scalpel. Transcript very dynamic, accurate. Defects such as quality records are scrutinized. I said that the quality of items associated upstream is of course crucial to the final rendering of these speakers. What I like least, a little lower down (bandwidth starting at 60 Hz), which may put off because the midrange / treble is very present to him (and beautiful way). For cons, the bass is ultra clean, firm at will. But hey, I like here is a lesser "evil", the overall quality of the enclosure is a very high standard for the format of it, great library. I pass the finish of the cabinet, in real walnut veneer, in fact one of the few models with this level of classic finish. My opinion is very informal because I Cabassi at heart with the subjectivity that results, Cabasse is a sound first. You have to listen in good association, after all is history of taste. My pair of 350 Eu Bisquine cost me in a state 100% original, ultra clean. To listen on foot, raised from 30 to 40 cm depending on the configuration of listening. Happy listening to all.

I have a pair of bisquine since 1994 after spending 10 years listening to and (sometimes) buy speakers that displeased me after some time. (CRMS, jbl, Tanoy, mission ...).

Finally I opted for the Cabasse I thought modest (in size).

In fact it is many Cabasse (such as those at the time, not like the stews of media today).
The sound is very neutral, not necessarily flattering to the first listening, but rich in detail, airy and bright. Placement is important, but ultimately less than the big speakers (in my opinion).

Some complain of low shy, but actually I think the way the big bass artificial (and sub) eventually accustom our ears to the supercharged bass.
The bass is just a place, it seems that the curve is very linénéaire. (If I want bass, I can still put on the amp).

These speakers are ruthless with poorly recorded discs, mixing draft or tiring, they are great for faithfully reveal the best record we thought to know before ...

I use a (very) viel Luxman amp (L230) that I like the airy delicacy of acute ... but I know the amps today are much more dynamic, making the speakers even more alive.

I also the Cabasses to mix my music (for lack of listening to studio) and eventually it works pretty good.

Please note, Bisquine operate 4 Ohms:

1 - when compared to other (into 8 ohms) on the same amp, it looks out what 2 times more dynamic, while the sound is just stronger.

2 - if you want to connect multiple speakers (listen simultaneously) on the same amp, this one may be endomagé.

Of course, after 14 years of use, sometimes dangerous as the feedback micro which returns to the tweteer the recording distorted electric guitars (my other speakers were destroyed) the amp has put back by the children while the disc smith ... despite all that my brief Cabasses are like new ..

What more? a higher HP for more serious? I know by experience that the big HP are rarely as precise and rigorous, even if they go down lower in the grave.

I'm the owner of a Bisquine pair since 1994. I previously spent 10 years listening to (and sometimes buying) speakers, which bored me rather fast. (Siare, JBL, Tanoy, Mission, etc.).

I finally chose these Cabasse thinking they would be average (because of their size).

But they are real Cabasse speakers (like they used to be, not like today's multimedia toys).

The sound is very linear, not emphasizing at all, but rich, precise and clear. Speaker placement is important but not as much as with big speakers, IMO.

Some people say they have not enough lows but I think our ears got used to overemphasized lows due to the current subwoofer trend.

The low-end is well-balanced and the response is very linear! (if I want more lows, I can add them with the amp setting).

These speakers are relentless with bad recordings and mixes. They are great because they let you discover details of recordings you thought you knew perfectly well...

I use them with a (very) old Luxman (L230) amp with a great high frequency response... even though I know that modern amps have a much larger dynamic range, which make the speakers sound better.

I also use the Cabasse to mix my music (I don't have any studio monitors) and they work well.

Notice: Bisquine speakers have 4 ohms impedance:

1 - when you compare them with 8-ohm speakers with the same amp, you might think that they have twice as much dynamics, but they only sound louder.

2 - Watch out if you want to feed several speaker pairs at the same time and with the same amp because it could lead to damages.

After 14 years of constant dangers (microphone feedbacks in the tweeters, distortion guitar recordings that destroyed my previous speakers, my kids turning the amp's volume fully up when a vinyl record starts playing...), my Cabasse speakers are still in perfect condition.

What else could you ask for? A bigger woofer for low frequencies? My experience has showed me that bigger woofers rarely produce accurate lows, even if they do extend the frequency response in the lower end.
