Used for 3 months to replace the Yamaha NS10M I owned for 8 years.
First remark, what feels good to the ears, the media are much less aggressive.
On some multitrack mixes I made, I see lots of detail (noise in the studio for example) that NS10M missed me.
Normally, the bandwidth is much wider.
These speakers do not deliver much bass, but the cutoff frequency (45Hz) is located much lower than the NS10M
Efficient low-volume
I had the opportunity to make several mixes on it without problems particular to listen to other systems.
Parcontre my amp ROTEL 2X40 is now a little short for these speakers
Only problem: the new price around 1500 €, I was fortunate to find a pair used reasonable price.
In short, good speakers in this price (less loud than the Tannoy, Genelec less than chubby, but this is a very personal opinion of course), although they are not designed for monitoring at the start , their qualities of neutrality they can easily be used as home studio listening to
