I have this chain since almost 10 years, no problems.
Sound quality with several control variables acoustics.
Very functional: - Plateau contains 3 CDs.
- Double cassette player, convenient for copies.
- Quick Copy (fast time)
Modern design
I see no real negatives.
Previously I had a very good channel also Sony and a Philips were also very good but the design of Thomson was a little more and the multi-CD set.
I can not remember the price I paid at the time but the price / quality ratio was excellent.
If I go back, I think I would do the same purchase, no regrets.
I put a note of 9 / 10 because perfection does not exist but very good product.
