After hesitating with NEW BEAT 14, from Zildjian, I bought these hi-hats. Being in a funk vein, I liked the accuracy, pitch a little sharper but the trunk is there, there is no problem to send the volume on concerts.
I recommend these little Charley strong friendly, accurate and aesthetically successful.
Update 20/02/2011: After a year of little use, I recommend these for charley funk groove.
They are really intended rock (lower cymbal very thick). Regardless of medium, too late and too metal for me anyway. I sell on this site elsewhere.
A Custom series is high quality but preference for rock or metal. To jazz or funk, search for K or K custom to be softer in the end and midrange.
Musically yours.
