Höfner unveils for NAMM 2013 the new Gold Label Series, with 12 guitars and a bass.

Included in the Gold Label Series is the Limited Edition Black Violin bass that we already presented in november (see this news) and available since december 2012.

Höfner has chosen two archtop Chancellor and New President models to complete this series. This news will focus on the first model.

The Gold Label Chancellor is an archtop guitar available in Surf Green and Ivory finishes. The series also includes a Chancellor Thinline with Dark Green finish. Both guitars have a spruce top with two “F” holes, the archtop back and sides are made of flamed maple, and so is the maple. The fingerboard is made of ebony, with 22 frets.

The guitars are equipped with two Höfner Diamond pickup, including a floating neck pickup, two tone and two volume controls and a 3-way pickup switch. The scale length is 633mm.

The three instruments are hand made in Germany. They will be shipped with a Deluxe flight case and a Gold Label certificate signed by the Höfner luthier.
