Guitars Thomann only sold by mail order in France and manufactured in China (probably by the poor people very badly paid and exploited amply given the price but I am not as other more expensive models are not as prepared under the same conditions with the only difference being much higher margins for intermediaries?).
This guitar is an imitation of a Gibson ES 335 with two humbucking pickups, a three position selector switch, two volume knobs and EQ with microphone.
It is cherry red. On the site of thomann red is a bit more burgundy than the one I received that is closer to a bright red. About Me I am okay but this may surprise.
The general appearance is very nice.
UTILIZATION
Compared to the price, I find the qualities of this guitar quite interesting. There are some slight defects in execution (traces of glue, varnish Fretboard somewhat rude) but really nothing very serious and certainly not more than more expensive models see a lot more expensive.
The fingerboard is a little dry for my taste but with a bit of time it will improve. The profile of the handle is round and thick but the style of guitar that wants that makes sense. Access to acute is very correct. The frets are properly installed. The guitar sounds right.
Overall, during the delivery, the guitar was pretty well settled. We must change the game to put a rope pulling harder.
In sound and unlike other reviews, I find very acceptable quality microphones. They have a lot of dynamics. The microphone is acute may be a little late but it is also what model of guitar that does it. This is not an LP. on the other hand to make Chuck Berry is flawless.
I like the middle position with both pickups for blues wish. The microphone allows serious obviously go to the Jazz.
SOUNDS
This guitar suits my style and my style is anyway to find music that inspires me each new instrument.
I use it directly into the computer with Fender tube amp that is tasty as desired.
OVERALL OPINION
I bought this guitar to try the product Harley Benton and realize their values in relation to a price that seems ridiculously cheap (175 € guiare the sole or 205 € with the case which is also very good ).
The result for me is really stunning. This guitar is pretty good. The look is very nice, the sound is correct, the round is quite playable. One criticizes the appearance of plastic knobs which is very cheep.
Short but fun in perspective. I feel that I will take others. They may ultimately be just by decorating my studio but at this price it's not so ruinous as decoration.
