Best value:
Excellent
I'm going to court, not to repeat what we said before the gentlemen, but I will clarify and put in some things clear ...
Asia manufacturing Micro Channel 22 Prs custom box set volume 1 (amended on mine) 1 Tone control
UTILIZATION
I wanted a guitar more or less versatile and especially enjoyable for me to play ... The first thing you notice when you take it is the lightness of the Beast (impressive).
The handle is easy to halfway between Fender and Gibson in terms of width, personally walk (for me), fast, a little big, but very enjoyable round.
Access to more acute is relatively easy, basically when you take this guitar, it feels a slight adaptation and after a few minutes we actually highway blues ...
What is surprising is when it tries not connected (on amp), the one gets a big slap it on an absolutely fabulous resonance for an electric guitar (and yes half the body is the present and not how nice).
Personally I choose my guitars taking into account the vacuum resonance, because normally after the microphones must surrender this sound and the (see below) ... then in terms of the guitar plugged in, one notices the accuracy of PRS and the PRS sound of its own (this is not an American).
But, surprise, the pickups do not sound the same so that the guitar sends empty .... GLOUPSSS shit ... (This is not catastrophic, it's hard to have a clear (from Claire) and the bridge pickup and a bit garish. I give you the answer later ...
SOUNDS
My style of music: Blues guitar = this is totally made for her but also Rock: its sounds good on the gibson style neck pickup, I love its roundness and power ...
Funk: Yeah its not made for either (PRS Fender Type) short it is well oriented, blues, rock, pop rock. For those who
love the sustain, you will enjoy ... So now let's get serious, personally I find the neck pickup pretty good, although not much to adjust if it's wrong I'll change it soon (I just found that is best suited to what I research).
Let there at the micro acute and ben not catastrophic, but I was disappointed (I've changed), a sound too loud for me, lacks a bit of precision in the end I changed to a Seymour Duncan P Railroad (a p90 with a rail (2 microphones in a what), having added a push button on the tone knob I can split my microphones, and of course I expect the U.S. RCP (I almost vomit re trying an American-ct so bland). Result
I have caught the original problem (it's not the only one found).
To conclude on the pickups, I can have a powerful sound, round, hot and very accurate but also sound very slightly crystalline (I like it when it when it is crystalline) and really clear, so I have gained enormously in precision, heat, power and especially to repeat myself at the clear sound with mods made. I no longer amp for my Marshall when my task in court documentation for another purchase ...
If I have a small pedal digitech RP350 home (and it works as hell). Try it on Fender amps rode a hot deluxe (but it is not my style at its Fender (excluding exceptional clear sound). Try on a mesa boogie studio 22 (ouawwwww).
In the end you'll have to summarize much included is a guitar with great potential, very good violin that you should simply operate by modifying it (I know it sucks but it hiper rewarding for her).
OVERALL OPINION
I've had it about 6 months I try a lot of guitar in the same price range or so, especially in fender and I have found my happiness on this reference PRS.
I even try out the PRS SE always, but Singlecut, ok not bad but its not worth the cost ...
Yet even violin, even micro-(and rightly error) but the HS a more soul through its sound box.
What I like most, it's empty, bouncing his sleeve Well, his violin and quality of finish and workmanship.
What I like least, well on his neck pickup (but once change is more a concern), the fact that when you decrease the volume knob you lose power (problem solved by adding a capacity (electronic component ))
The end value for money is excellent and absolutely unbeatable view of the potential of this guitar, with the experience I would do tomorrow with this choice passage from a luthier in stride.
JOJO SMALL TIPS:
- Be aware that for every guitar, there's a game string of record, in this instance we are at the ERNIE BALL 10/46 drawing for me. (The best game of rope for this guitar, you will at best return to its super vacuum)
- After passing a luthier for a set of round, followed by an adjustable easel for justèce notes and keeping of the agreement (by the way, have you seen it or did not want the agreement? went on vacation three weeks, she has not budged, even with heavy usage on the weekend (about 8am) it not clog) ...
- Point following the addition of a capacity (electronic component) to adjust the volume problem - Changed bridge pickup to a Seymour Duncan P-Rail (a codition Spitta power your mics)
- And above all do not make fun these changes alone, I personally went to a luthier (excellent) and all I got for 160 € (when we know that the microphone is worth 110 € alone provided that its worth it). Hoping that this opinion will be useful, good buy for you ...
