This is an easy playing guitar if your arms are long (mine are), and also if your shoulders are strong, as it weighs 3.3 kg. The neck is gloss painted, narrow and not deep, with the body cutout at the 18th fret, so it's easy to get the high notes. It's fitted with Fender, stainless flats, XL .011 - .050, which really sound great, play smoothly on these frets, and stay in tune for weeks at a time.

The fit and finish on the body are excellent, workmanship and finishing worthy of a keeper axe. It's beautiful to play, either electric or acoustic, and the only thing I really yearn for is a longer neck! (Alas, I have to go over to my Hofner Shorty for that!)

The pickups are pretty loud, and very clean, although the volume all seems to come after 8 on the knob. The volumes are even across the strings, and the selector switch is quiet, giving nice control of single or blended sounds. I appreciate the selector being on the lower bout, the Les Paul switch always seems to get in my way, but this one stays out of trouble.
