I couldn't find any Bill Lawrence L-250 pickup for a couple of S,S,H guitars so I seen the low price, read the reviews and decided to "pull the trigger.
Soon the three pickups arrived and I ended up putting those three in two 24 fret, S,S,H Super Strats and in the bridge position of a traditional S,S,S Strat.
I dropped the Duo Rail in the neck position of the Jackson Super Strats and the pickup sounded like a cross between a Bill Lawrence L-250, Dimarzio Chopper and a slightlier beefier Seymour Duncan Cool Rail.
On a traditional Strat's bridge position, it delivered a Dimarzio Humbucker from Hell with a SD Cool Rail . On that guitar, the neck/ middle pickups are Fender Custom Shop Texas Specials. That Alder guitar has a Eric Johnson, Jeff Beck and SRV goodness.
When I bought the pickups, they cost only $17.00 US Dollars, today, they cost $ 48.00 US !!!!
