I just get into the EMG is all new to me, on my guitars, I stayed with microphones origins. I chose the EMG 89 for their versatility. Indeed, I have an Ibanez RG350DX (MSM nivo config) and EMG 89 bring me my game to another dimension I now have 4 to choose from config: HSH, HSS, HSS SSH and knowing that my middle pickups is an EMG SA. The clean sounds are beautiful and I'm not talking distos sounds that are terrible. The EMG 89 EMG 85 runit the SA1 and EMG in a single micro splittable. 3 scratches on humbuckers versatility is terrible. I should also repeat that choice for my other guitar without problem. 10/10
