Excellent
I use emg 89 for 3 years. To play a little bit of everything, with preferences for clear sound.
TRS is a good mic that has the good taste to be forgotten. This means you use it without thinking about the buzz, the lack of power to attack the amp, or the length of our cable!
The fact that it lets you juggle splittable sound clear trs (single coil) and a powerful crunch and emg 85.
The ratio quality price is excellent as the electronic is included.
I know several other models of pickups (active or passive) because I make guitars, and I think this mic is really great quality, and even the characters.
Now, if you think that the only fawn to have a good sound and have the same stuff that guitarists of the 60s, then this microphone is not for you ...
But you are wrong (I think!)
