I am the User deopuis 6 months and am very happy jen masi I think go to active EMG, masi is on for the price of 2 passive pickups jaurai not even an active masi AC is a choice.

yes i essaay many model passive else brand is the DiMarzio which is not too bad but I prefer LEMG for its precison and EMG EMG is ...

So I use this mic EMG H4 for over a year ... Before this model I had Seymour Duncan Dimebag Darrel. (Not that Seymour is bad but I rather prefer the sound EMG) LH100 and before the original mic on the guitar ESP / LTD

What I like most about this microphone, POWER palm-mute when you feel it and am pleased with this good amplification microphone sounds of thunder.
This mic gives punch to your guitar especially if you like me before Scratch'N home on LH100 ESP / LTD ...

In terms of price this mic is accessible to all budgets ... Seymour Duncan Dimebag (120 euros on average) this one 60 euros.

I purchased this microphone for customizing a squier stratocaster made in japan 1993.
EMG Hz H4 is the passive version of 81.
Many people have a tendency to say anything about the EMG HZ passive pickups, I think especially since many did not really try!
Moreover Alexi Laiho from Children of Bodom uses passive EMG HZ's signature models!

Regarding the sound, it is actually very close to the 81 it is less powerful but also more accessible in a sense, seymour duncan dimebucker is the microphone that he most resembles the passive type.
What is interesting is that with the H4 can the splitter and then get a good sound micro simple, warm sound.
