« Microphones METAL by excellence »
Published on 02/18/14 at 04:11This is a first review hot, I use it for a few days, but then what power! At the same time everything works with two 9V batteries.
I have another guitar with EMG, compared to Seymour Duncan they have much less power, but are a bit more accurate. However, SD is so powerful that even the slightest error in the game is even more amplified.
The sound is warm and SD titanic, I play on Bugera 333XL, it takes a kick in the butt every big deal and palm mute is jubilant. The amp saturates clear sound with the bridge pickup is to tell you that this mic is exclusively made for the big metal and nothing else.
At the installation (on a Gibson Explorer 84), be careful they are longer than the passive pickups I had hair, hence the need to expand the knockouts, and must make the place to put the two 9V batteries.
Everything is provided in the kit, knobs, jack, wiring, surround microphones, it only remains for the brave to get out the soldering iron.
Value / price given the price at which I bought at Thomann, I would do without hesitation that choice even if compared with Blackouts or EMG there is no system of seamless connection.
