I installed a Gibson ES 335 which are original with 57 Classic
Well here immediately the sound is just a hair better not slap compared to Classic 57 original limit I wondered if I had not inverted the microphone like I have rewired my old Classic 57 instead of SH55 ... although the pickups are not wax potted as the Classic 57 the sound that comes does not issue a report rawer, more comes in or drier is vintage hot sweet brief it looks like the Classic 57 except that it is Duncan signed ...
In conclusion if you have Classic 57 not changed for SH55 you will not last from one to two in terms of sound signature ... especially since some socket level price € 125 or both for 250 €
