I use them for a year and a half SZ520QM Ibanez neck and bridge position. Mine has a hood.
Those pickups are very well targeted to the Blues and Blues / rock.
For metal, they are not for ... Originally they were created for Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top) to reproduce the sound of his 1959 Les Paul with a little more spice ...
They are a little more rock than SH1 59 'and a little less than SH4 JB.
I would do this choice knowing that they are not given ...
