This is an all-tube, 2 6L6 and 12AX7. I have two Sovtek 5881 and 12AX7LPS.
50W, HP 10 ", 2 channels, rglages treble, bass and volume on each, gain and reverb on the OD, bright button on the clean channel. Footswitch grant the OD and reverb.
UTILIZATION
For me it niquel, although I especially like the mtal, no problem rgler sound, it is very easy to use.
SOUNDS
I have a definite preferences for mtal, I play a BC Rich up in EMG and drop D and Hoyer Les Paul with DiMarzio X2N. With these two guitar sounds are very fat as I like the overdrive is pleasant even if it is "an" overdrive, although simpa AC / DC, etc. Trust. I play with the bass and treble has a bottom 4, bottom gain, reverb 3. For me, the crunch is not great ... a little nasal, it may also be due to the age of the amp, but clean ... it is gorgeous ... warm, soft, beautiful!
OVERALL OPINION
I use it ... for about 2 years, this amp is an heirloom, it has over 15 years I believe, but it still sounds very good, I like less the look, but it would be to the taste of the era. I do not know the original price, but I've never had any problems with this amp, despite the age, so it must be of good quality ...
If I had to choose now, I do not buy it, simply because there are more adapted to mtal this amp.
