2 channel strip:
- Double prampli micro (with phase inversion button, -20 db PAD, "Meter", to view the output signal).
- Double tube EQ: 4 band paramtrique (with Q), with low cut and high-pass.
- A double optocompresseur lamps (limiter, compressor).

At the entrance, all connectors are available: asymtrique front, symtrique (micro) in front rear.
Outputs: Rear facing symtriques (balanced monitor) and asymtrique facing rear (unbalanced monitor).

Rack 2.5 U

The object is beautiful. When the lights, the lights begin to shine drrire the glass blue.
All this is pro, the connectors are tb quality and the knobs from the front (aluminum).
The only thing wrong is a space between the knobs: it is sometimes difficult to be resumed when beginners.

UTILIZATION

Config trs simple.
Unlike what some Affiris, the DTC is not a simple Voice Box, and is cut to record sources trs Different.
It sounds live without tweaking anything ... a condition of having microphones drrire!
The manual is in English (I purchased the item in the United States), but it is clear, easy to understand, the machine is so simple read the manual does not learn anything grd.

SOUND QUALITY

The prampli is really excellent, we get a clear, fine crystalline, warm.
Stereo image is large trs was a really big its massive!
Although it was recorded trs rarely aggressive sound.
The direct inputs are very practical and can have an input signal always with maximum quality why the connection is made tb, without being complex.
I recorded a synth and dj bass from a DI is well trs.

Coupled a static trsgnreuses bass, a beautiful grain lamps without staining abusive.
The equalizer s'avre be effective and trs musical: we do what we want with, booster, Cuter no pb has not blow. He adds prsence sound and we want to use background when recording, a pleasure.

I heard recently that the lamps taient the bluff, but I do not o? The sound of the DTC is beautiful, and lamps give a discrte coloration to the sound. It does not bleed, despite a big prsence serious decision. The low-cut filter is used almost systmatiquement.

The Optocompresseur, just left of the rack is simplified: limiting knob / knob compression and release. I do not use that as the compression limiter is a bit weird (opto = vintage?). In fact it is hard and rgler s'avre be quite extreme. As against the rev limiter is effective, the "brick wall limit" has a softer tip.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had one month, I tried many things dj with and without a control room with the possibility of adequate monitoring, I think the results that the little is achieved with simply good quality trs. I love the DTC for its sound so nice, its looks (hh has just a yes!) Price.

Xperience I do it again with this choice: If I were to buy a second one day I will.
I use a converter coupled Professional Mindprint An / Di Pro 24-96, was working perfectly: two channels for recording pro (116 db dynamic). A good machine trs, trs versatile sounding blow.

UTILIZATION

The config is simple ... however the buttons are too "raprochs" is the only "default" of this machine
the sound is fabulous ... and both nOOOrme Christalin
the manual is in French hilarious (translated from German via the Martian!)
but people come here all the same!

I tried (and possd manley, Avalon and so on .... this product is a gold mine for those who want "Global Warming" the sound of any kind or attack directly prampli micro ... what DTC does it all!
buy emergency while still in direct sales, or if you find OCCAZ!!

Its efficient, quite simply. Really it's a great investment. And then plug in USB direct on my pc, I Whereas as a plug. This simplicity allows you to work quickly ...

Good and well if you attack too violently the pramp is transparent. Now I'm using it to color the sound rather than the corrected (quoique. ..)

OVERALL OPINION

Go just a little more for the compressor that is just a great job. It boosts your signal and pump up the puissement square is a really good product ...
In fact, I now regret to have some plug ins that despite their great quality not the "magic" of analog, I use more than prprod ...
Small flat depending on the link, not get us wrong, which is effective not only on the compressor ... Dj knob that are not pais ...

SI c'tait again, I will take this product without competition in this price rel. I know it's hard to find in the exhibition shop but tried to compare some Avalon, or other ... Depending on your got it may be surprising ...

The eq is actually a knob to be dense square centimeter, but you get used quickly.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound is beautiful, the beautiful and can preamps and colorful, and the eq trais full and musical, the comp and perfect, I love the vocals and guitars, and it allows more or less colored sound, it makes much of the character of the machine.

OVERALL OPINION

Even new, I think it is an excellent price / quality ratio.
I compared it to many things, it is above a good number of single machines in the same price range, Avalon to name the brand.
He will never leave my rack, I use it all the time.
Well I redeem one more if I saw past the same as mine taken
I would do against this by choice, and if I loose one day, I probably nine redeem as soon as possible.

Not really a whole lot missing, more inputs would be great- but for a dual channel pre-amp, its a GREAT price.

UTILIZATION

No problems- XLR and 1/4inch inputs and the same outputs. It has phantom power for my mics. I love it because I can route 1/4 inch cables into my digi 002 without taking up one of its 4 XLR inputs- so it makes way for more inputs on my other system.

Built fairly well, some of the roll off buttons stick at times.

SOUND QUALITY

This piece of equipment is a dual tube preamp/eq/compressor. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! I paid $999 USD for it, but the street price is right around 1800, lists for 2300 or so. I love this piece of gear- honestly, it gives the similar product made by Avalon a run for its money. It does great with kick and snare, theres a bunch of control over tonal quality, eq, and compression. a -20dB roll of switch is ideal for louder instruments. When used right out of the box, it sounds great- a little tweaking to compression settings and eq- and it sounds amazing- especially if you already have a nice mic (Neumann or B.L.U.E). It also sounds amazing on vocals.
