Value For Money :
Excellent
Analog semi-lamp
2 XLR inputs and XLR output jack or 6.35
Rackable.
48v, phase reverse, 30dB pad, button "flair" (dig the medium and suddenly makes this the treble and bass), cut down.
UTILIZATION
Very easy to use, very effective.
SOUND QUALITY
I got it secondhand, and to my recollection, the lamps had not been changed.
I say this because I often read that the Goldmike is transparent, and it is true that for a long time I could hardly tell the difference with the preamp on my sound card (Saffire PRO 26). But since I did some tests with me in peace with all my microphones, I clearly recognized in a special way to make the sound.
It must be said that the pad I use often, especially with static, which allows me to push the knobs for gain, often beyond halfway.
The sound is very clear, with grain, round, brilliant highs, and although pretty, the bass is below the rest. So it does not go over everything, everything depends on the source of the microphone, and what you want.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for over 2 years.
I love the sound it gives.
In Overhead, on the snare, small tom medium, some voices, acoustic guitars ...
J'utlise also JOEMEEK TWINQ.
I'd rather have a second, excellent value for money!
