These models are Japan-made, with the same 5-piece maple/walnut Wizard Prestige necks as other RGs, but a more affordable price.
RG Fixed models are locked down with the Tight-End bridge. Saddles are locked onto the base plate for maximum string vibration, and are designed to remain perfectly linear during intonation adjustment for accurate set-up. Also, the top side of the bridge is smooth finished, so if you play hard, the Tight-End bridge will forgive you and your hands.
Forged in the fires of '80s metal, these hmachines are built with speed and strength in mind, according to Ibanez. All feature mahogany or basswood bodies designed to provide “the perfect balance of crushing lows and singing highs.”
RG Prestige Fixed Bridge models are available in Night Crow (RG1451NC) or Aluminum Gray (RG1451AG).
