The polvalence: this card does it all! or almost ...
This is obviously not a business card (it does not the price either), but it's a great quality card trs (for that price) it is found without much difficulty between 100 and 150 euros ...

UTILIZATION

No problem for installation
Just the drivers that are a bit long to settle ... but ... everything is ok in the end so we will not complain either!

GETTING STARTED

No crash - - I have not done SHIFT Driver (everything works perfect for now!)
Do not worry about Wavelab, Cubase, WinDVD ....

OVERALL OPINION

The pros: versatility, quality sound restitution support for ASIO
The -: the installation of drivers is a bit long (but not Stained)

Bah Map 5.1 is a classic:

- 5.1 digital output
- 3 analog outputs (front, back, bass)
It would have been cool to have a headphone output so you can connect both the HP and the headphone. I have a "T", but above, I have split the HP / cables to my living room TV. Apparently, there are filters on the output and the sound is not the same as the output before.
Otherwise, the 16/48 recording. It rises 24-bit read. On my old songs 44 khz is a hassle to convert (I know not how ...).
I use it with a latency <10ms
The card can manage soudfonts.

Use: Media Card and computer music as an amateur (Cubase VST and guitar)

Different notes:
- 3 / 10 for the pros to music (mainly due 16/48)
- 7 / 10 for my use (mixed use)

UTILIZATION

No problem to install. No inconsistency. It's ok

Reproach, to see what is the connection, you need good eyes! It is not obvious what is what mic, in, out ...

GETTING STARTED

All is well for now. Latency <10 ms without problems.
On my XP1800 + 512 MB Athlonx, I went up to 6 audio tracks + 2 and 3 VSTi plugiins smoothly.

For sound, I can not tell, I have not bought 5.1 and I play on 2 HP to 100 bullets at the moment ...

OVERALL OPINION

It's been three weeks that I have and I am very happy. I bought it in bulk version for € 85!!
The advantage: to learn about the computer music without latency for a good price without the KX drivers
His least: if I want to move more in Music, forget this card ...
Value for money: good considering the price (it's true that a SB Live can do better at this level ...)

I'm not disappointed at all by the Audigy 2 and I bought it despite the high number of negative comments (notably on AF ...) about this card. For what it serves me, c'st's all good.

CHARACTERISTICS The card is good trs.
With the costs the sound is pretty good (compared to Intgr chipset sound card or other conventional).

The great advantage of this card is for people who use their computer for anything other than his (that is - ie games). L I think the Audigy 2 has its Pingle's games.

UTILIZATION

The implementation is very simple:
1) install the card into a PCI slot
2) install the card, the daughter card containing deuxime the output for the joystick port (also incidentally and noon).
3) install the drivers itself

What's good with drivers is that they have an automatic update feature, which greatly facilitates the Czech quidam.

GETTING STARTED

The use is transparent, the latency in Cubase SX is in the 20-30 ms (to be comfortable). But it is adjustable between 5 and 50 ms ..

Otherwise the drivers are being updated often enough.

For a small budget with a maximum Browsing I highly recommend this card. There is a relationship quality - price trs good!

OVERALL OPINION

What I like most is the compatibility with almost everything!

For now I have against a pro sound card (a quatafire 610) ... we see the gap in the sound. The sound is bland and lacking in treble DEFINITIONS.

Possder before the new card I put 10/10 for the sound ... but now .. no more than 5 / 10 ...

A dsavantage other is that all connectors are minijacks, so it's not terrible ...
