The Mixpander / 9 9 contains the latest Motorola 563xx DSPs processors. The total processing capacity and + 2.6 GIPS (Giga Instructions per Second). This is more than 11 times the capacity of processing included in a system R.ed and 15 times that of a SSHDR1-Plus!
The mixpender / 5 contains 5 processor Motorola 563xx DSPs to more than 1.4 GIPS of processing power. It is already more than 5 times the power of a system R.Ed. and 8 times that of a SSHDR1-Plus.

A map just roll 10 x TC reverbs, plus a 32 channel, 32 bus, 5.1 surround mix, with 4 master channels simultaneously to a 5.1, LCRS, Dolby surround and a stereo output.
You also add a little EQ 4-band full of paramtrique, a compressor and Dynamics 8 Sends on each of 32 channels, a Dolby Surround encoder, Aphex Aural Exciters 2 x stereo and Aphex Big Bottom Pro 24 stereo delay and a processor multi-band as TC Dynamizer a stereo sub-mix ... another way mixpender a 9 / 10 just to run TC Reverb, 60 dynamics processors (gate / expander / compressor / limiter), 300 full band EQ Settings, TC Dynamizers 6 and 30 at the same time delay in biensur 24bit 44.1khz. This is an incredible processing power available!
There are a total of 640 connections between 24 bit audio DSPs plus 32 audio channels for use with a streamer of the PCI bus of the PC. Add the 16 buses per DSP chip and do no bus is necessary to route between them, the effects of in-line and every other DSP elements in each track mixer (eg EQs, send, fader, meters etc..), and you end up with a lot of connections can be very very far away that pushes all kinds of COMPTITE!
Each DSP is qutomatiquement reroute to another if it does not have enough processing power available to feed the large memory and complex effects such as Reverb, Chorus / Flanger and Delay.
