Move from a SB Audigy is a move from the dedeuch Mercdes.
Features and Trs good exclents converters. The true 24bit/96kHz for around 160.
Use homestudio base.
Breath zero (I really made an effort but I mean really nothing like the sound of money !!!). Trs and satisfactory dynamic connectivity but low enough to use alone.
Possibility to combine Phase 22 + ieurs cascade.
And finally, a latency close to Nantes (2 ms no problem with Athlon XP 2000 + and 512MB of DDR.
UTILIZATION
Some small problem in Win98SE or millennium (small bugs if we a reboot of the machine, a plant a little ...) but otherwise very easy configuration.
Ic only for the moment: the drivers provided are poor and do not direct monitoring priori

Latency obtained with the config pr-cit: 2 ms!
In the number of tracks simultaneously: I record most of the time only my guitar and my voice + some piano sounds, it's not I who will push the bte far ...

OVERALL OPINION
In conclusion, I do not know much but for me 160 a spo really be a good product. I use it for three weeks and it's not bad at all. Report quality price: silence.
